Position Summary The Senior Analyst of Global Operations will support the company’s key business processes including operational planning, quarterly forecasting, monthly outlooks, monthly reporting business reviews, and will support leadership with actionable and timely business insights.
This role will work collaboratively with the Sr Finance Manager of Global Operations and finance partners across the business (Global Ops Finance, Central FP&A, Overheads) to coordinate our efforts in understanding key business drivers.
This role will also provide end to end dedicated support for the Ops Managed Overheads function as well as support tracking of Global projects/productivity initiatives/Inflation analysis and reporting.
This person will have strong business and financial acumen, and demonstrated capabilities to work collaboratively with others, and experience working in a complex and fast paced environment.
Universal Accountabilities Report and Evaluate Business results (including Actuals and forecasts) across Global Operations; ensure alignment across business area to understand results and drive performance Ensure financial data is maintained in consistent formats and that business partners are trained in use and understanding of the reports and analysis to be able to take action upon financial results for their areas of the business Ability to construct journal entries, as necessary, and understand accrual accounting for overheads and project/productivty spending Able to identify discrepencies and manage data integrity for project tracking Provide detailed performance analytics to support: Analysis of actual results against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year, ensuring consistency of all reporting requirements Analysis of forecast and financial outlook results against Budget and Prior Year with delivery of synthesized materials identifying key issues Review materials from Global Operations and support synthesis of the key message Summarize key findings (i) as basis for action plans to improve results, (ii) as input into next Forecast or Outlook Partner with business and functional leads across select Global Operations Overheads functions to monitor, track, forecast and drive performance across operating cost areas Demonstrate a deep understanding of the critical issues/business drivers and opportunities within all areas of the business, specfically headcount and payroll analysis Drive an environment of cost excellence by partnering with functional areas to identify opportunities, manage risks and track savings where applicable Provide ad hoc project support on global initiatives within the Global Operations Finance team (including project spend/productivity tracking) Support development of simplified and streamlined reporting and tracking across areas to drive efficiencies Required Skills and Experience Strong academic credentials, including a finance, accounting or other relevant bachelor’s degree are required A minimum of 3-5 years of finance experience in Global Finance organization Ability to analyze large amounts of data and effectively identify and synthesize key messages Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong Analytical rigor Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders System knowledge: SAP experience Essbase & Hyperion planning Highly proficient in Excel and MS Office Preferred Skills and Experience Direct and proven experience as a Financial Analyst Hyperion Planning experience preferred Experience in Operations Finance preferred Power Apps and Excel Macro knowledge MBA degree preferred Work Environment Reports to: Sr Finance Manager, Global Operations Finance Collaboration and interaction with the broader finance team across Global Operations and FP&A Travel as needed (minimal) The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000.
The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
