Job Summary: The Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for driving the design, development, implementation, and adoption of Clarity's Total Rewards Programs including Benefits, Compensation and Payroll.
This position will report directly to the Chief People Officer.
This role is hybrid with occasional travel to the Madison, CT and Stratford, CT locations.
Essential Functions Deliver the total rewards strategy to drive market-competitive employee benefits, wellbeing, compensation and reward programs, policies, and tools.
Create and maintain market and industry-driven salary ranges informed by relevant compensation studies, etc.
Key owner of Clarity’s HRIS system and data.
Oversee payroll processes.
Create and maintain key metrics and organizational assessment data that create insights to drive improvement and inform total rewards strategies.
Ensure compliance with FLSA standards.
Maintain advanced working knowledge of benefit legislation, industry standards, compliance requirements and best practices, incorporating standards into processes and procedures.
Lead strategic compensation merit and bonus increase planning; review and recommend plan designs; perform fund allocations and other compensation analysis as needed.
Collaborate with HR team members and leadership teams to design and implement innovative rewards solutions to continue to make Clarity a great place to work.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Education Required • Bacehlor's degree preferred, with demonstrated experience in Benefits, Payroll and Compensation Knowledge & Experience Prior experience in developing and leading employee wellbeing initiatives Prior experience in employee benefit plan design, including end to end procurement process working with a broker.
Prior experience in compensation system design, including pay structures, pay equity, reward and bonus programs.
Knowledge of benefit and compensation laws.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate strategic partnerships, work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including Human Resources colleagues, senior leaders, outside vendors and internal/external counsel to develop and implement sound, balanced, and thorough solutions.
High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills with a track record of influencing and providing consultative guidance to employees, managers, and senior leaders regarding complex total rewards programs.
Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience using data to identify insights that drive action.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency using ADP Workplace.
