Lucrative and fast paced Auto Dealership has an immediate need for a Financial Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the dealership, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management.
This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to support the overall success of the dealership.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Financial Reporting:*
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to dealership management and external stakeholders.
* *Budgeting and Forecasting:*
* Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
* Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
* *Cash Management:*
* Manage cash flow by overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash disbursements.
* Optimize working capital to support operational needs and business growth.
* *Internal Controls:*
* Establish and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard dealership assets.
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
* *Tax Compliance:*
* Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
* Prepare and submit required tax filings.
* *Financial Analysis:*
* Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
* *Team Leadership:*
* Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and support.
* Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the finance department.
* *Vendor and Lender Relationships:*
* Manage relationships with vendors, financial institutions, and lenders.
* Negotiate terms and conditions to optimize financial arrangements for the dealership.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is often preferred.
* Proven experience as a Controller in an automotive dealership or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Proficient in using accounting software and financial management tools.

Pay: $86,100.
