Marcum LLP is seeking Accounting majors for a Tax Intern position with a start date of the Winter Season.
Interns will become involved with all aspects of the Tax practice and will gain solid, hand-on experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Scanning and collating of tax returns
Managing electronic file maintenance using internal document retention database
Maintaining internal database with taxpayer details and staffing modifications
Preparation of basic tax returns and assistance with accounting related projects
Handling of tax estimates and estimates with various clients
Configuring reports and information on client status to ensure completion
Requirements:
Must be an Accounting major
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Interest in professional development
GPA of 3.
0 and above preferred
Interns are allowed and encouraged to attend any subject matter training being offered during their internship.
Marcum LLP offers 150+ courses per year, in house.
Interns will also receive on the job training.
