Live-in Caregiver

Are you someone who regularly travels back home, has kids that are grown up, or are just looking to make a difference? Here at FirstLight, we are looking for people with a variety of different backgrounds and experiences to service some of our live-in clients.
We have long-term, short-term, and part-time live-ins available.
Requirements * Having flexible availability and willingness to work across Connecticut * Are able to work independently * Are a problem-solver * Are an effective communicator who can understand the different needs of our clients, family members, conservators, and other responsible parties * Positive personality with a desire to help Responsibilities * Assist the client with their ADLs * Cooking meals for you and the client * Light housekeeping * Med reminders * Doing tasks according to the care plan Benefits * Paid Time Off * 401K with a match * Health insurance * Automatic deposit and *weekly pay* * One-on-one care * Work for a family-owned business * Hours paid with overtime after 40 compensable hours * Time and a half for major holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $180.
