Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys and staff
- Assist with legal case management, including organizing and maintaining client files
- Request medical and billing records
- Assist with document management systems, including filing and organizing documents
- Call medical providers and confirm client balances
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
