*JOB DESCRIPTION*
Growing law firm with two attorneys located in Milford, Connecticut seeking a full time legal assistant to work Monday through Friday from 8:30-5 p.
m.
Our practice consists of international and domestic estate administration/litigation, estate planning/elder law, and federal criminal defense.

*QUALIFICATIONS*
*Experience*: 2-5 years as a legal assistant/paralegal.
*DUTIES*
The ideal employee for this office is a self-starter who can work independently, multitask effectively, has strong organizational skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
The employee will answer phones, draft correspondence and pleadings, interact with clients, attorneys and courts.
Clerical duties include scheduling, scanning, copying, faxing, filing, and keeping files organized.
The employee will be required to file, keep things organized, and keep track of deadlines.
*NECESSARY SKILLS*
A.
Strong interpersonal skills.
B.
Strong writing skills.
C.
Proficiency in TurboCourt and other e-filing platforms.
D.
Strong computer skills, including but not limited to:
1.
Competence in all MS Office products, Sharepoint in particular
2.
Proficiency in MyCase, Clio, TimeMatters or equivalent legal case management software.
E.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
F.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
G.
Proficiency in Spanish/Italian is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.
00 - $45,000.
