We are looking for a private room with a private bathroom, I (m30yr) am a introverted extrovert, so when I am around people I am very sociable and I tend to be a very good conversationalist, but I prefer to focus on hobbies and interests I am passionate about and I enjoy spending time alone primarily.
My girlfriend (30yr) is an Extroverted Introvert, she actually enjoys socializing but only in limited amounts and usually on a one on one basis.
We both keep to ourselves and are non nuisances.
We are also both artist’s and have a passion for making art, we don’t drink often or have any parties, we have a kitten, she goes to college and has a fixed income currently, I have a steady income coming in from remote work.
We are able to afford $700-$1000 with our current income.
We are looking for somewhere close to a bus stop or the college for my girlfriends commute.
Also, we are both psychology nerds, and have analytical thinking styles, as such we tend to be very aware of our own behaviors, boundaries, and communication styles, so we don’t argue, we debate, we tell each other about our toxic urges instead of impulsively acting on them so that we can deal with them together.
Basically our dynamic is very intellectual and very private, and on the same wavelength.
We don’t bring others into our issues when they arise and they don’t arise often.
We are ideally looking to share a place with other very private and nerdy/artsy people like ourselves, and in an area that is close enough to her school and has enough space for us both in a single bedroom.
Private entrances to the room would be preferred but it’s not a deal breaker.
Also if you have a place that fits all that criteria but you aren’t in New Haven, but in a surrounding town, please reach out, we might be able to work around that part.
