Purpose:
The Marketing & Communications Manager is part of the Business Development Team and works to create, deliver and maintain dynamic content to a wide variety of audiences (internal and external) and through a broad range of multimedia platforms.
The work is in support of the organization’s mission and content will be developed by creating and maintaining strong relationships both internal and external to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce web-based and printed materials, including press releases, letters, promotional materials and advertisements, brochures, banners, blog posts, internal and external announcements, seasonal newsletters, the annual report, marketing materials, agency literature, issue briefs, internal presentations and outcome reports.
Lead on the development and execution of internal and external communications and marketing campaigns, defining audiences and channeling strategies to best support alignment and engagement among staff and donors.
Develop, maintain and execute an annual content calendar for social media and general communications; includes writing, managing and coordinating posts for the agency's external website and social media channels.
Ensure a strong brand identity across the organization.
Take the lead on ongoing website development and upkeep of the agency's intranet resources (CB Dashboard & CB CONNECT).
Produce graphic designs and videography/photography as needed.
Assist with development, creation, and implementation of Development initiatives and materials for donor engagement and fundraising campaigns with digital newsletters, e-blasts, materials for in-person events, and direct mail appeal and subsequent thank you letters.
Respond to press inquiries and other communications from the public as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, vendors and reporters.
Assist with communications and marketing efforts of clinic-wide programs, organization events and press conferences, as well as logistics for community events and internal clinic-events.
Assist the grants department with incorporating marketing and communications dollars into grant applications and assisting with grants reporting as needed.
Manage specific internal and external communications mediums, such as agency-wide newsletters, developing and facilitating presentations, preparing training materials for engagement requests/communication events, and maintaining/updating the agency’s intranet resources as needed.
Manage the marketing budget and its existing resources; will include purchasing and keeping inventory stock of agency literature and swag.
Work closely with senior leadership and other colleagues to find stories that showcase and highlight the organization’s success and fundraising needs.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Degree focus in Communications, Marketing or related field or 2+ years relevant experience
Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Must be able to work as an integral part of a team while modeling ethical and professional behavior at all times.
SKILLS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Writing skills (grammar, punctuation, storytelling)
Knowledge of Wordpress
Knowledge of how to package artwork
