*OVERVIEW* The JCC of Greater New Haven is so much more than a fitness center! With a daycare/preschool, countless activities for Youth and Adults, a flourishing Aquatics program, and popular Summer Camp, our Registrar is a key player in ensuring our community center thrives! The Registrar will serve as a central point person for program registration for the whole facility.
This highly visible position works closely with all building staff, JCC members, and members of the community looking to take part in activities in our facility.
The Registrar serves as a key role to support programming departments as well as membership and as liaison to finance.
The ideal candidate is tech savvy and customer service oriented.
*Primary Responsibilities* * Set up class registration in Club Automation for Youth Program, adult sports leagues, Beverly Levy Early Learning Center and any additional programming as needed.
* Provide customer service to members, potential members and users who have questions in person, on the phone or by email.
* Respond to members’ inquiries regarding their accounts and/or program participation.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Department in promoting programs.
* Work with program staff to manage wait lists and fill classes.
* Communicate with enrollees and parents around registration and payment issues.
* Collect payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
* Provide data including registration lists and rosters to program staff.
* Review monthly statements with the Director of Member Services and JCC Assistant Director.
* Train and support building staff in the use of Club Automation.
* Assist our Welcome Desk with occasional fill in and tours as requested by the Membership director and/or desk staff * Monitor the building calendar to ensure classes are scheduled and that other building events are properly planned for.
* Keeping track of inhouse room use/reservations and following up on set up forms and security with the Maintenance Department and the staff member in charge of the events.
* Schedule may vary depending on the time of year so we are looking for a flexible employee.
*Qualifications* * Excellent organizational skills * CRM experience, Club Automation experience preferred.
* Superior customer service skills * Attention to detail * Deep knowledge of JCC Programming *Education and Experience* * Two to Five years of related experience preferred * Bachelor's degree preferred Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $38,000.
00 - $42,000.
